This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we handle your personal information – the way it is collected, used, and disclosed by Newsperience Software ApS (“Newsperience”). The Policy applies to all our web sites (Newsperience.com, Newsperience.dk, Loyance.com, Loyance.dk, nspapps.com) and Applications (“Apps”).

YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may collect personal information from you in various ways – information you directly provide when you use our Sites or our Apps. The information we collect directly is always only collected with your direct permission and the information collected is typically name, email, adresss, company name. We also sometimes collect information indirectly in our Apps to make the apps work, e.g. have your name appear in an app we need to collect your name. But we always adhere to the privacy policies of the platforms on which the apps run In addition, some information may be automatically collected when you visit our Sites. For example, it is standard for your Web browser to automatically store information to every web site you visit including ours. That information includes your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, access times, browser type and language, referring Web site addresses, details about your computer’s operating system and more. We also collect information about your usage and activity on our Sites. This information does not identify individual users, and so we use it to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our userbase as a whole.

USE OF COOKIES

We may use “cookies” (small data files placed on your hard drive by a Web site) on some of our Sites and Apps. “Cookies” automatically collect certain information, which helps us to improve the user experience, like keeping technical information about a current session or use of a certain technical component. We only use the cookies to improve the user experience and do not analyze contents or store personal/private information for later use (i.e. we don’t consider technical data like sessionid as personal/private information). We link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. It is important to know that certain features or services of our Sites are accessible only through the use of cookies. The use of cookies by our service providers is not covered by our privacy statement and we do not have access or control over these cookies.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

The primary purpose of collecting personal information is to provide you with a customized user experience. We use your personal information to provide you with services, to operate and improve our Sites and Apps, to send you messages, and for other purposes described in this Policy or disclosed to you on our Sites or in connection with our services. You agree that we may use your personal information to:
• personalize and improve your experience on our Sites and with our Apps;
• respond to comments and questions you may have while using our Sites or Apps;
• conduct an aggregated analysis of the performance of our sites and applications;
• any other use, which you have opted into and informed about for a specific purpose.

OUR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may disclose personal information to respond to legal requirements, enforce our policies, respond to claims that a listing or other content violates the rights of others, or protect anyone’s rights, property, or safety. Such information will be disclosed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We use third parties such as a an email service provider to send out emails on our behalf, when you have opted in for that service and we will share the personal information you provide only as necessary for the third party to provide that service. We develop and host Apps on their behalf of our clients. We request that our clients either adhere to this privacy policy or state their own clearly. Provided that a client adhere to our policies, we will act on their behalf and the clients will not be considered a third party and we will disclose information to them about you in the way we can use them ourselves and is stated in this policy.
We do not share your personal information with third parties other than as described above and as follows:
• with third party vendors, consultants and other service providers who are working on our behalf and need access to your information to carry out their work for us:
• to comply with laws or respond to lawful requests and legal process;
• to protect the rights and property of Newsperience, our agents, members, and others including to enforce our agreements, policies and terms of use,
• in the good faith belief that disclosure is needed to respond to an emergency or protect the personal safety of any person;
• in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company. In any such event, we will provide notice if your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

SECURITY

The security of your personal information is important to us. We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use lots of tools (encryption, passwords, physical security, etc.) to protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure. Newsperience takes reasonable security measures to protect your personal information to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, as you probably know, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, and other users may abuse or misuse your personal information that they collect from the site. Therefore, despite our efforts to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private, as no security measures are impenetrable.

Except as otherwise expressly included in this Privacy Policy, this document addresses only the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. If you disclose your information to other users on our sites or other sites throughout the internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them. Newsperience does not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy statement of any website you visit and ask questions before you disclose your personal information to others.

We post customer testimonials on our website which may contain personally identifiable information. We do obtain the customer’s consent via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial.
